Hello blogger...
How are ya?
Now, I'll write about treasure.
Yep, treasure in Indonesia.
Specially, in Indonesia sea.
Indonesia has a wide sea area and we can find anything in here...
Fishes, corals, or even hidden treasure *jeng jeng jeng jeng jeng*
K,
Yesterday, I was watching a news about hidden treasure in Indonesia.
So, some Indonesia archaeologist found a lot of treasure between Sumatra and Java..
This treasure comes from the 10th century.
Majority made from crystal and clay.
One of Indonesia archaeologist said (gue lupa namanya),
"Because of this discovery, we can discover new things. Previously, archaeologists say that Moslem entry into Indonesia in the 13th century. However, because of discovery of this time, we know that Moslem already exists in Indonesia since 10th century."
UNESCO has made rules, called the "Confession of Protection Under Water Heritage".
This rule contains about protecting heritage objects under water.
Because Indonesia still has a lot of under water heritage, but can't be retrieved because "they" have to spend a lot of money (US$ 10000 per research).
Because, Indonesia doesn't have much money (iyalah, dikorupsi terus), a lot of under water heritage in Indonesia became neglected.
Finally the heritage from 10th century sold to people from other countries who more appreciate the history than Indonesia people.
And I got this info about people who aren't influenced by money:
a teacher at Lereng Merapi, Central Java, M. Badri
found a temple site from Majapahit period (1500 BC).
Many people from abroad (China, Korea, England, Singapore, Australia, etc) wants to buy the site from him, but he still refused the offer.
He always said:
"This site is not mine, but belongs to my country, Indonesia"
Dalam hati gue: "ni orang gila atau emang cinta sama negaranya? ditawarin uang jutaan dolar, ditolak !! salut banget utk ini org".
Two thumbs up for him...
He loves his country, Indonesia...
yay !
And he gave his garden that is still productive to dig by government for the country interests.
The items to be auctioned have been chosen by Indonesia archaeologists.
If the items has a great value and has a close connection with Indonesia history, the items won't to be auctioned.
But, among the items to be auctioned,
there are several items that should be a collection in Indonesia...
What should we do, pak mentri????
P.S : Dr. Ir. H. Fadel Muhammad, is Indonesia minister of maritime affair
